Hosting and connection data
Cloudflare Pages delivers this website through a global network. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) processes IP addresses, requested URLs, time and browser/connection information for delivery and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in operating a secure, available website. Processing may occur in the United States and other third countries. Cloudflare’s processing terms include EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards for applicable transfers. Cloudflare DPA · Cloudflare Privacy.
We operate no additional visitor database or access-log export. Cloudflare determines retention according to service delivery, security and legal requirements; it does not specify one fixed period for all technical data.
Language & display
Neutral entry points use an explicit saved language choice, otherwise the browser preference and, as a fallback, approximate country information already provided by Cloudflare. There is no GPS request or additional location service. Only explicit manual language selection sets the first-party cookie bsd_locale_v1 to de or en for up to one year. Automatic clears that preference. Explicit language URLs are preserved. Optional reduced-motion and number-format settings are stored in the browser value bsd_display_v1 until reset or deletion of browser data. Only these display preferences are stored, not study or enquiry data. Processing provides the requested language/display function under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Studies, enquiry preparation and email
The studies operate locally with fictional sample data. The contact form prepares an editable email in memory only. It sends nothing to a server; inputs and study corrections are not written to analytics tools or persistent storage. Clipboard and file exports occur only on your action. Open in email app hands the draft to your mail application. You decide whether to send it there.
If you send an email, we receive the message and contact details through GMX to handle your enquiry. Project enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other business correspondence on Article 6(1)(f). Records are retained only as needed for the enquiry, project, statutory retention or legal claims, then deleted unless another legal basis applies.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Any consent may be withdrawn for the future. There is no profiling or automated decision with legal effects. Providing contact data is voluntary; we cannot respond without necessary information. Complaints to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
