Delivery & security

When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection data including your IP address, requested URL, time and browser/request information to deliver content and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in operating an available, secure website. These transfers are necessary to retrieve the website.

The hosting provider is Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). Processing uses a global network and may take place in the United States and other third countries. We operate no additional access-log export or visitor database. Cloudflare retains technical information according to the needs of service delivery, security and legal obligations; the provider does not specify one fixed deletion period for all technical data. Cookies & product studies

At the home address, the browser’s language preference is checked first. If no supported language is available, the country Cloudflare derives from the connection is used (no GPS or additional location request). Direct language URLs remain unchanged. Only when you use the language switch do we set the functional session cookie bsd_language, containing de or en. It remembers only your explicit language choice for the browser session; you can delete it in your browser settings. This storage provides your requested language function under section165(3) Austrian TKG2021. The preference is not linked to a user profile. There are no visitor analytics, advertising trackers or other persistent browser storage. Images and fonts load from the same website host. There are no external video embeds, accounts or contact forms. Product studies use demonstration data only; inputs and filters are not sent to a service and reset when the page reloads.

Email enquiries

The email link opens your own mail application. Only when you send do we receive your address, message and any additional information through our GMX mailbox. We use these to handle your enquiry. Project enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps or contract); other business correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) (responding to the enquiry). Providing information is voluntary; we cannot respond without the necessary contact details.

Correspondence is retained only while needed for the enquiry, a resulting project or establishing or defending legal claims. Business records subject to statutory retention are kept for the applicable statutory period, then deleted unless another legal basis requires retention.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Any consent you may have given can be withdrawn for the future.
